Peanuts Snow Globe

I bought a new Snow globe today from Hallmark Gold Crown. I love it. I first saw it in Michigan two weekends ago and fell in love with it. So I ran out and got it when I got home.

This gorgeous snow globe has the kite-eating tree inside it, the leaves are on the top of the globe. Inside, Charlie Brown is hanging upside-down from the kite string. The kite itself hangs from the other end. Both Charlie Brown and the kite swing freely inside the globe. Snoopy is standing below Charlie Brown, with his dog bowl in his mouth. The snow/glitter in the globe are shiny confetti tree leaves. The base features a short comic strip.

Panel 1: Charlie Brown: *hanging from the tree* Maybe my faithful dog will rescue me.
Panel 2: Charlie Brown: Maybe he'll discover that I'm gone, and come looking for me.
Panel 3: Charlie Brown: Dogs have an unusual sense of loyalty...he's bound to have missed me...
Panel 4: Snoopy: *holds his bowl in his mouth*
Charlie Brown: *sigh*

This globe is also a music box that plays the Linus and Lucy theme.

As a side note, I attended the school Charles Shultz graduated from, though I never completed the courses. The instructor who interviewed me for the courses has met the REAL Charlie Brown. He told me he is the spitting image of the character and they take him out to eat every time he visits. How very cool is that!
