Character Bios

I've intended for a long time to do some bios for my characters, but I've not drawn anything I feel is ideal for a single bio for each character. Sho was done quite a while back but I wasn't happy with it then and am still not, now. So I figured, since everyone else seems to have an OC list, I'd do one, here.

Some things may change or be added.

Felicity Melodia

Age: Mid twenties
Occupation: Professional opera singer
Martial Status: Potential relationship with Master Joris

Felicity was originally from a village near the Singing Fields in Amakna. At some point in her life, something happened to her family leaving her alone to take care of herself. She was very withdrawn and timid around others, usually keeping to herself and singing alone until Sho Lebeau overheard her singing, one afternoon. Sho proposed a business offer to her, inviting her to return to Bonta, with him, to become a professional singer. Felicity accepted this offer with the intentions of seeing more of the world. She lives with Sho, in his home in Bonta, and views him as an older brother rather than just her manager. Though she still tends to get stage fright, she manages to find encouragement in Sho as well as Master Joris who will occasionally visit with her, backstage, before performances.

- Her surname is a stage name given to her by Sho.
- Her name means to find bliss in music.
- She met Joris while doing a performance in the Sadida Court. He enjoyed her singing enough to attend her local Bonta performances and befriended her.
- She tends to see very little bad in anyone which can sometimes cause problems.
- It is unknown what happened to her family.
- Her emerald pendant belonged to her mother. She never takes it off.
- Her nickname is Fella, given to her by Sho.


Sho Lebeau

Class: Osamodas
Gender: Male
Age: Mid thirties
Occupation: Talent agent/manager
Marital Status: Taken by Avi and Mara (eventually married to both)

Sho is a big name talent agent and manager in Bonta. He represents several singers who have been very successful. He met Felicity while he was vacationing in Amakna. After overhearing her sing, he proposed a business deal of which she accepted. He took her back to Bonta and allowed her to stay with him in his home where he took on a sort of brotherly role. He feels paternally toward her and looks out for her like a sister. He can be incredibly overprotective, to her. Because the people of Bonta are aware that Sho has a strong love for Kamas, many are under the false assumption that he only feigns a love for Felicity as to keep her safe since she is a source of income. Sho is a playboy and tends to be a flirt to both men and women, but usually women. It's not unusual for him to take a lady home to his bed, for the night. This has earned him a reputation around Bonta. It doesn't take much for him to make a lady swoon which can sometimes irritate the men of the city. Despite his Casanova reputation and his apparent egotistical attitude, Sho is actually a softy and can be very compassionate towards others.

- Sho's name is a pun for "show".
- Sho's surname is a French word meaning "handsome man".
- He has a Gobgob named Bizz which adds to his name puns. Sho Bizz referencing "show biz" or "show business".
- Bizz wears glasses like Sho.
- Bizz is a Gobgob version of Sho. He tends to mimic his master's actions as well as being a playboy, himself.
- Bizz is eventually mated to Lux
- Sho has his own clothes tailored, personally, and are sometimes his own design. This is why his dress is rather unusual.
- He has his own personal cologne made specially for him.
- He sometimes writes music for his clients.
- Sho's tail is very sensitive. If touched, he will become paralyzed with shock. Depending on who is touching his tail this sensation can be very painful or very pleasurable.
- He's a cuddler. As much as he loves sex, he's just as happy snuggling.
- He can play the piano.
- His voice is beautiful and soothing. He's quite vocally talented, when it comes to singing, but his modesty kicks in when told so. He doesn't believe he can sing well and prefers to leave the singing to his clients.
- He has a tattoo on his left arm just above the elbow of a double clef heart (consisting of an upside-down G clef and an F clef) and his name, in Draconic, overlaying it.
- He has a secret desire to be a father. This eventually becomes a reality.
- Sho keeps a whip under his jacket. He uses it when those he loves are threatened.
- Sho is incredibly devoted to work and can be very melodramatic when things go wrong.
- He doesn't always show it, but he can be very flamboyant.

Avi

Class: Eniripsa
Gender: Female
Age: Late twenties
Occupation: Professional ballet/interpretive dancer
Marital Status: Taken by Sho Lebeau (eventually married)

Once Avi moved to Bonta, she would typically dance at Orson's on his stage. Due to her frequenting this venue, she eventually met Felicity and the two became good friends. Avi met Sho, through Felicity, and she became quickly infatuated with him. During their friendship, Sho liked to entice Avi leading to a sexual relationship that turned romantic, leading Sho to slow down with his playboy reputation. Eventually, Avi became pregnant with Sho's daughter and he opted to be more of a family man. A few years after their daughter was born, Sho eventually married her. She can be rather timid and bashful, a trait that Sho loves and uses against her with his flirting. She is also very soft-spoken and soothing, tending to have a maternal personality toward her friends. Even though she's a dancer, she is still quick to use her brush and heal anyone who needs the help.

- She is based on my Pokesona, Avi the Sky Forme Celebi.
- She sometimes uses her brush in her dancing.
- She has a tail fetish. When she is being romantic with Sho, she loves for him to affectionately wrap it around her in a sort of "tail hug"
- She is commonly associated with flowers. They appear on her clothes and her brush.

Pierre

Class: Shushu
Gender: Male
Age: Centuries
Occupation: Being a mirror
Marital Status: Has a not so secret crush on Felicity

Pierre has been in this dimension since sometime during the Dofus era. He traveled from place-to-place for quite a long time prior to being purchased by Sho. Pierre does not get along well, with Sho, nor does he like him. The two tend to banter a lot. Sho enjoys getting the Shushu worked up while Pierre simply can't stand the Osamodas. He typically hangs over a chest of drawers in the living area, of Sho's home, just outside the hallway leading to his bedroom. Unfortunately for Pierre, this means he can sometimes hear the activities coming from Sho's room, much to his dismay. After Felicity moves into the home, Pierre develops a crush on her. Felicity is oblivious to the crush, however Sho can see it plainly and tends to tease him about it.

- Pierre name is a pun. It references a pier mirror which is a long wall mirror typically hung between windows.
- He can make three transformations. Wall mirror, hand mirror, and standing mirror.
- As a standing mirror, Pierre can walk around on his own. Sho forbids this transformation for this reason.
- Pierre once spent time in Kerubim's Bazaar.
- His frame and glass turn pink when he blushes.
- In his Shushu form he has powerful jaws.
- If he ever escapes from his mirror binding, he would try to kidnap Felicity in a forced romance.

Ante 

Class: Ecaflip
Gender: Female
Age: Late twenties
Occupation: Backstreet gambler/con artist
Marital Status: Single

Ante is a very deceptive Ecaflip. She tends to draw others in, playing on their greed or lust, so that she may eventually steal from them. She tends to cheat at her games. She may feign a friendship with someone so that she may take everything they have. When Felicity begins to get too close to her, Sho has to intervene as he is fully aware of her scams based on a past relationship with her. After she broke his heart, Sho developed a hatred for her and would prefer not to even look at her.

- Her name is a gambling term meaning a set amount for a bet prior to a deal.
- Her design is based on a cat on a cat food display. I liked the "eye patch" the cat had.
- She was once in a one-sided romantic relationship with Sho. They were even briefly engaged.
- She's a psychopath.

Ash

Class: Sadida
Gender: Male
Age: Late twenties
Occupation: None
Martial Status: Single (infatuated with Felicity)

Ash is a Sadida who lives in the village outside of the Singing Fields. Although he rarely gets to talk to her, he is very protective of Felicity and appears to have a crush on her. He is the twin brother of Aspen.

Aspen

Class: Sadida
Gender: Female
Age: Late twenties
Occupation: None
Marital Status: Single

Aspen is a Sadida who lives in the village outside of the Singing Fields. She cares for Felicity's well-being, but also wants her to be able to find her happiness. She is the twin sister of Ash.

Faun Lebeau

Class: Osamodas
Gender: Female
Age: Late twenties
Occupation: Veterinarian
Marital Status: Single

Faun is the younger sister of Sho. While her brother sought a profession in the entertainment field, Faun opted for sticking with her family in Amakna and caring for animals.

- Her name is a reference to fauna which are "animals of a region".
- She has a Gobgob named Napoleon.
- Her brother tends to try to get her to sing.
- She is very pretty and, like her brother, tends to have the opposite sex fawning (no pun intended) over her.
- Unlike her brother, she would rather wait for the right man.
- She loves Sho, but is very disappointed with his life choices.

Durant

Class: Osamodas
Gender: Male
Age: Usually depicted as 8
Occupation: None (eventually a talent agent/manager)
Marital Status: None

Durant is the son of Sho and Mara.

- When Durant grows up, he will most likely be a Casanova like his father.
- Sho adores his son and intends to teach him to knock ladies off their feet, just as he can.
- He was born on the same day as his sister, Giselle, though to a different mother.

Giselle

Class: Eniripsa
Gender: Female
Age: Usually depicted as 8
Occupation: None (eventually a dancer)
Marital Status: None

Giselle is the daughter of Sho and Avi.

- Sho adores Giselle. She is his little princess and he is very protective of her.
- Sho would go as far as to play dress up and have tea parties with her.
- She eventually becomes a dancer like her mother.

Orson

Class: Ecaflip
Gender: Male
Age: Early fiftes
Occupation: Theater owner
Marital Status: Single

Orson owns Orson's Theater in Bonta. He has a partnership with Sho and frequently rents his venue to Sho's clients. Because of this, the two have formed a friendship. Orson has a paternal relationship with Sho and tends to do all he can to look out for him. Orson is very short and suffers from a Napoleon Complex due to this, as well as a Little Dog Syndrome. Sho will sometimes tease him about his height.

- Orson is named for Ninja's cat.
- He is designed based on my deceased cat, Shadow.
- He is also represented as an entertainer by being a Tuxedo Cat.
- He hates being called short and will get very angry.
- He has an overbite on the left side of his mouth.

Iven Inconnu

Class: Iop
Gender: Male
Age: Mid thirties
Occupation: Professional opera singer
Martial Status: Single

Iven is an opera-singing Iop represented by Sho.

- His surname is a pun. Inconnu is a French word for "unknown". This is because of a running gag where characters may imply they've never heard of him.
- He's a flirt
- He's incredibly egotistical and is always on his high horse.
- He sometimes dislikes the attention that Sho gives to Felicity.

Wrennen

Class: Huppermage
Gender: Male
Age: Early 20s
Occupation: Astronomer
Marital Status: Single

Wrennen is a Huppermage Astronomer.

The Quad Squad

Ysabel

Class: Osamodas
Gender: Female
Age: Early 30s
Occupation: None
Marital Status: Single

Ysabel is an outgoing, hyper-active Osamodas with a love of animals and handsome men. Typical to Osamodas lineage, Ysabel enjoys spending her time around animals. However, she can be an animal, herself, sometimes around good-looking men. She is a lecher, often disrespecting personal boundries of both men and women, much to Sho's dismay. If she feels comfortable enough, she isn't afraid to cop a feel. She has a Gobgob named Junior.

Gustav

Gender: Male
Age: Early 20s
Occupation: Underwear Model
Marital Status: Single

Gustav is a vain Iop underwear model who advertises in Bonta. He takes pride in his appearance and believes himself to be the best-looking Iop in Bonta, though Iven would tend to disagree. He has little shame in himself no matter who he's around, though he tends to be too relaxed around those he trusts, often making a fool of himself. His looks make up for what he lacks in brains. He often speaks before he thinks, resulting in mixed-up words or simply saying incredibly stupid things. He has an admiration for Sho and, like Ysabel, has a tendancy to disrespect the Osamodas' personal boundries. He has a tendency to join Anne when she breaks out in song.

Octavia

Class: Ecaflip
Gender: Female
Age: Early 20s
Occupation: Musician
Marital Status: Taken by -name pending-

Octavia is a striving musician with Ecaflip's luck. She holds talent in playing several musical instruments and strives to peform in Orson's theater under Sho's management. She carries a lucky kama that she believes will help her achieve her goals. Usually friendly and out-going, she is also stubborn and tends to become irritated with her less compitent companions. She's never afraid to speak her mind. As typical cat behavior, she enjoys getting scratches and tends to purr loudly when being given affection or while sleeping.

Anne

Class: Cra

Age: Early 30s
Occupation: Huntress
Marital Status: Single

Anne is a Cra from the Sadida Village. She is a skilled archer and huntress. Though she is typically more serious than her friends, she is also outgoing and goofy. She has a tendency to break out singing if she is reminded of a song. She thinks maternally toward her friends, often looking out for them or scolding them when their antics go out of hand (usually Gustav or Ysabel). She can give stern looks that will stop them in their tracks. She is also quick to console or comfort others when they are down or hurt.
